Future Fuel Competence in the Maritime Industry – One Ocean Week

  • Marineholmen Thormøhlensgate 49a Bergen (map)

Norway’s maritime industry is at the forefront of developing and adopting zero-emission fuels like hydrogen and ammonia. With new technologies comes the need for new skills and knowledge.

What training is essential for the green transition, and how must educational institutions adapt to meet the industry’s demand for expertise in hydrogen-based fuels?

Ocean Hyway Cluster and Maritime CleanTech and are bringing together industry leaders and academia to tackle these questions during One Ocean Week in Bergen.

With:

  • Marielle Mannseth, Group Brand & Sustainability Officer, Norwegian Hydrogen

  • Torvald Ulsund, controller operativ støtte, Salmar

  • Trygve Skjold, professor, University of Bergen

  • Bjarte Gees Bokn Solheim, associate professor, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (+ Hy2Cove)
