The future maritime energy infrastructure in the Nordic region

  • Webinar Webinar Webinar Norway (map)

Welcome to an interesting webinar in which we will get to learn more about two initiatives which aims to map out and visualise the future hydrogen and electricity demand from the maritime industry.

The first project is driven by Ocean Hyway Cluster and focus on the Norwegian market. The second project which has recently started is a Swedish project where RISE is the main partner which in turns focus on the Swedish development. The outcome of both these initiatives is an interactive mapping tool in which the user can see existing, planned, and hypothetical hydrogen and electrification scenarios along each country’s respective coastline. As the Norwegian tool already has been lanced this is an opportunity to both get to see how it can be used when finalised but also impact how the Swedish infrastructure map can be developed.

The long-term goal is to create a foundation for an even wider tool that covers the whole Nordic region. And this is an opportunity to be part of that work!
