Ocean Hyway Cluster and Energy Network Norway invites you to the webinar Zero carbon fuels for shipping – Future ammonia fuel value chains
Background
Global efforts to reduce carbon emissions has led to increasing interest in ammonia as a shipping fuel. Ammonia requires approximately half the storage volume of liquid hydrogen and is easier to transport.
Several large shipping companies are looking into ammonia as fuel and they are being met by industrial actors with the ambition of producing large quantities of green and blue ammonia.
We have infrastructure for industrial use of ammonia already. How can we make use of this existing infrastructure to meet the increasing environmental regulations in the shipping industry? And how can we learn from the journey of LNG?
These questions and more will be discussed in our webinar.
