CCB and ZEG Power are new members in the cluster!
We are glad to welcome and introduce two new cluster members to Ocean Hyway Cluster: Coast Center Base (CCB) and ZEG Power.
These two companies represent different areas of the hydrogen value chain and is a great addition to our exiting membership base.
CCB is a well-known name within the oil and gas industry, offering supply and support bases, logistics operations, in addition to rig and subsea services at locations along the coast of Norway. Recently however, they took the step over to a new business area, more on that below.
ZEG Power is a Norwegian clean energy company providing technology and equipment for transforming hydrocarbon gases into H2 with high efficiency and integrated CO2 capture.
Strategic cooperation to establish cost efficient, clean hydrogen production from gas
Earlier this autumn these two companies, CCB and ZEG Power, announced an exciting collaboration on a large-scale hydrogen production facility at Kolsnes outside Bergen. The hydrogen production will have integrated carbon capture and will be located near the project “Northern Light”. Here the CO2 will be stored in pressurized tanks before being pumped offshore through a pipeline to one or more injection wells that are located on the seafloor. You can read more about the project here. This is a highly interesting project and Ocean Hyway Cluster is looking forward to following it closely!
If you want to know more about these two companies or their project, reach out to one of us in the OHC team.
