Coronavirus: Event cancellation and useful links
We in Hub for Ocean / Ocean Hyway Cluster have taken several necessary steps regarding infection risk. We are focussing upon good person hygiene, and are undertaking safety assessments with regard to meetings and events that we plan to arrange. We must unfortunately postpone the Orkney Study Trip 28. – 29. April 2020 until Autumn 2020 or April 2021. We will provided updated information as soon as the new dates are decided.
In the coming months we will organise more of our events in a webinar format, so that you can get information and inspiration at a safe distance from each other. We encourage people to use telephone, email or video conferencing when contacting us, as long as it is not necessary to meet face to face.
Everyone in Hub for Ocean / Ocean Hyway Cluster is at work and feeling healthy, so we are taking these precautionary measures to reduce risk as much as possible. Several of our members offer useful services that can reduce the risk of contamination, such as specialist infection control cleaning. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions related to this and or anything else.

NHO have developed a comprehensive document (Norwegian only) that gives general advice to businesses about infection, layoffs, sick leave, quarantine and travel. We recommend that these advice be followed.
NHO have lawyers who can advise on labour law regarding the Corona virus. The employer donation service is available to members of NHO.
NAV (Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration) are making regular updates to their sick leave rules regarding Corona virus. Latest news from NAV can be found here (Norwegian only).
