Ocean Hyway Cluster is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team.

Ocean Hyway Cluster is a national cluster for stakeholders in the hydrogen and ammonia value chain, with a primary focus on the maritime sector. As a center of competence for hydrogen technologies, we facilitate collaboration and serve as a meeting point for industry leaders and innovators. Together, we aim to introduce hydrogen-based fuels and reduce emissions across the sector.

OHC is headquartered in Florø, with colleagues also based in Sunnmøre and the eastern part of Norway. Ocean Hyway Cluster is an Arena Pro program supported by Norwegian Innovation Clusters.

As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies that create value for the cluster's members and partners. You will identify new opportunities for growth and collaborative projects and help position the cluster as a leading player regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Development: Identify new opportunities within our network of members, establish project consortiums, and lead the development and execution of project initiatives.

Events: Contribute to our events, both planning and execution

Promote the cluster, our members and knowledge in relevant arenas

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners to foster collaboration and business success.

Who are you?

You hold a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, with a foundation in either technical or commercial fields.

Ideally, you bring relevant experience from the maritime industry, or a passion for diving into this dynamic sector.

Driven by a keen interest in innovative technical solutions and sustainable technology.

A fluent communicator in both Norwegian and English, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.

Confident and comfortable in public speaking, representing the cluster in front of an audience.

A self-motivated, solution-oriented professional with an optimistic attitude
