«The times we are in require a global energy transition, and to collaborate with others is crucial in making this transition happen. For Norwegian Hydrogen, Ocean Hyway Cluster is an important arena for us to do exactly that, to meet, collaborate, and learn from each other. When I was asked to join the board, it was an easy decision and an obvious YES. I am humbled by the task, and proud to be able to contribute. I look forward to joining the group of competent board members and hope my passion for the green transition and hydrogens' role in it will contribute positively to the development of the cluster».

Kevin Gould will take over Statkraft’s role in the Board from Ulf Eriksen. Kevin is responsible for Statkraft’s maritime hydrogen projects and has participated in activities with Ocean Hyway Cluster for the past several years. He has a long experience from commodity and environmental markets and has been working with hydrogen business development the last 3 years.

Kevin Gould, Business Development Manager in Statkraft.

“I am looking forward to working with the Board in Ocean Hyway Cluster and to join them in their development as a key facilitator of the green transition within the maritime sector both in Norway and internationally”.

The board is an important key for the cluster administration to get input on areas to focus on. Kristin Svardal, CEO of Ocean Hyway Cluster, is excited about the two new additions to the board:

“The board is important in developing the cluster’s strategies and commitments and consists of central actors from the hydrogen value chain. As CEO, the board is an invaluable resource in our work to realize pilots, build infrastructure and contribute to an increase in Norwegian goals for export. I look forward to continuing the great collaboration, now with Marielle and Kevin’s engagement and competence aboard”.
