60 days left to the 5th International Conference on Maritime Hydrogen & Marine Energy
The date for the conference in October is getting closer and closer. Ocean Hyway Cluster and GCE Ocean Technology are this year offering the conference as a digital solution. This gives us new opportunities and the program this year is better than ever.
The conference brings together world-leading players in maritime hydrogen technology and marine renewable energy. To ensure further development and future value creation it is crucial to gather representatives from all corners of the industry: business, R&D, academia, finance and public enterprises. Through knowledge sharing and cooperation, we will all be able to contribute to solving technological challenges that will reduce global CO2 emissions from maritime transport and help to deliver stable, sustainable and clean energy supply to island communities and coastal regions around the world.
Speakers from over 15 countries
This year we have put together a program packed with lectures, discussions, workshops and interviews with highly relevant actors who in various ways work for the further development of clean energy in the maritime sector. Among others, you get to hear about the world’s energy situation from Robin Mills in Qamar Energy, Dubai, hydrogen as an energy carrier in the in international shipping from Laurent Debart, France, hydrogen in cargo ships by Fokke van der Veen, The Netherlands, and energy systems with low emissions for island communities by Marlène Moutel, France. This year’s conference will take place as planned 14.-15. October and will contain 6 sessions spread over those two days. Trond Strømgren, Ocean Technology Innovator at GCE Ocean Technology, states that a digital conference opens for new possibilities:
