Elkem Bremanger joins Ocean Hyway Cluster

We are happy to introduce Elkem Bremanger as a cluster member. Plant Manager Arne Werge-Olsen explains why below:

“Elkem Bremanger wants, in an environmentally sustainable manner, to utilise all our raw materials as well as possible. We have an excess of hydrogen that results from the Silgrain production process. Hydrogen is a green energy carrier that can contribute to reducing our carbon footprint. We hope that the energy can be utilised within the surrounding region, and thus it was natural for us to contact Ocean Hyway Cluster to help find a solution.”

Ocean Hyway Cluster looks forward to collaborating on this project.
