Teco 2030 receives “Approval in Principle” for its Hydrogen Fuel Cell System
TECO 2030 has reached another milestone in its development of zero-emission solutions for the maritime industry. The cleantech company has now received an “Approval in Principle” (AiP) by DNV for its Hydrogen Fuel Cell System and three versions of its Fuel Cell Module FCM400.

Worlds first blue hydrogen located in Norway
ZEG Power, provider of technology and systems for production of clean hydrogen, is going the build the world’s first blue hydrogen facility in Norway. The production facility is on Kollsnes in Øygarden, west of Bergen, and scheduled to start production Q4 2022/Q1 2023.
Enova supports 15 hydrogen projects in maritime transport
Enova announced the 15 pre-projects that gets support through funding for hydrogen projects in maritime transport. 5 of the supported projects are developed by businesses in the cluster!
Orkney Islands receive governmental funding to decarbonise ferries
The £2.2 million HIMET (Hydrogen in an Integrated Maritime Energy Transition) project will explore solutions for decarbonising ferries as well as shore-side activities in ports. It is one of 55 projects selected for funding under the Department for Transport’s flagship Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition, delivered in partnership with Innovate UK.
Unitrove plans to build world's first liquid H2 bunkering facility
Clean energy solutions provider Unitrove is launching a campaign to clean up the global maritime sector by delivering the world’s first liquid hydrogen bunkering facility for fuelling zero-emission ships. Unitrove will showcase its liquid hydrogen technology at the UN COP26 conference, which is currently scheduled to be held in Glasgow from the beginning of November 2021.
Albert landed an internship in Yanmar Europe
In February we told you about the 8 bachelor and 3 master students we were supervising from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL). One of these students were Albert Gjørvad, and his thesis landed him an internship at one of our cluster members.

World’s First Green Ammonia Terminal Receives Large Governmental Grant
Azane Fuel Solutions’ first project “Ammonia Fuel Bunkering Network”, which will build a green ammonia bunkering terminal, have today received confirmation that it will be granted NOK 89 million (EUR 8,600,000) through the Norwegian Green Platform Initiative. This was announced by Minister of Climate and Environment in Norway, Mr. Sveinung Rotevatn in Florø, Norway today.

Liquiline to deliver electrolysis equipment
