Orkney Islands receive governmental funding to decarbonise ferries

The £2.2 million HIMET (Hydrogen in an Integrated Maritime Energy Transition) project will explore solutions for decarbonising ferries as well as shore-side activities in ports. Unitrove plans to build world's first liquid H2 bunkering facility

Clean energy solutions provider Unitrove is launching a campaign to clean up the global maritime sector by delivering the world’s first liquid hydrogen bunkering facility for fuelling zero-emission ships. Unitrove will showcase its liquid hydrogen technology at the UN COP26 conference, which is currently scheduled to be held in Glasgow from the beginning of November 2021.

World’s First Green Ammonia Terminal Receives Large Governmental Grant

Azane Fuel Solutions’ first project “Ammonia Fuel Bunkering Network”, which will build a green ammonia bunkering terminal, have today received confirmation that it will be granted NOK 89 million (EUR 8,600,000) through the Norwegian Green Platform Initiative. This was announced by Minister of Climate and Environment in Norway, Mr. Sveinung Rotevatn in Florø, Norway today.
