Clean energy solutions provider Unitrove today unveiled the world’s first liquid hydrogen bunkering facility for fuelling zero-emission ships at the COP26 climate change conference in Glasgow.

During the past months Ocean Hyway Cluster have been part of a planning committee for the event “ShipZero” coinciding COP26 in Glasgow November 1-3rd.

As a result of higher activity, Norwegian Hydrogen has strengthened its team and moved into new facilities.

TECO 2030 has been granted NOK 50 million in Norwegian government support for its development of hydrogen fuel cells, which will lead to the creation of up to 500 new jobs in northern Norway by 2030 and contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Hexagon Purus joins the work package Zero Emission Compressed Hydrogen (ZECH) which is part of the ZeroCoaster project study coordinated by Vard, a major global ship design and shipbuilding company.
