TechnipFMC’s Deep Purple project develops solutions for offshore production of hydrogen and intermittency management of wind farms by storing the hydrogen subsea. Increased focus on offshore wind and the need to store energy has led to high international attention on the project.

Ocean Hyway Cluster published recently a report about safety and risks regarding hydrogen and ammonia infrastructure. The report was written by Olav Hansen in Lloyds and can be downloaded here. The report has received a lot of attention including 90 comments after Teknisk Ukeblad wrote an article about the report.
